Our mission is to protect, engage and inspire a safe community through all-hazard response and community risk reduction while offering residents to volunteer and serve the community, further education and comradery.
We offer our volunteers:

DONATIONS WELCOME
Carson Volunteer fire, EMS, and Rescue Department (CVFRED) is a volunteer fire department that serves and protects the Carson community. Although we are funded by the County fire department, CVFRED helps the volunteers with essentials that the county does not provide, i.e. updated gear, equipment, firehouse amenities, help to individual residents in need to name a few. The CVFRED relies on voluntary contributions and supporters to fund the stations work. The CVFRED is a registered 501(c)3 organization, the donations you make, small or large, are tax-deductible and you will receive a tax receipt.
